Perak-Penang Day 1

alright. so this is Day 1 of Perak-Penang trip.

actually this trip planned last minute i would say. and it clashed with my activities. firstly MASISWA and secondly my family gathering. so we planned it from 13th to 15th nov so that it wont clash with my family gathering from 16th onwards and Malcolm can go back his hometown early too.

since i chose to leave the team for MASISWA and kena teased by kenny, im still fine! no regrets afterall! MASISWA only ma, i'd played for MASUM already. (MASISWA=Majlis Sukan Institusi Swasta, MASUM=Majlis Sukan Universiti-universiti Malaysia) which one more prestigious? haha. ok la, dont want to be so ego. when i'd made my decision, that's it, it's final! haha. furthermore, i have trust in the rest of players to perform so i can go holiday! wooo

so we decided to start our journey at midnight. 4am we set. after picking up Wern Tat at Puchong around 445am, we shot to Ipoh along North-South highway. it's indeed first time experience driving on this highway.

along the way, we stopped once for 'fire-fighting'.

we reached Ipoh around 730am, we headed to Dim Sum restaurant. after Dim Sum, Ipoh City Council put a welcome note on our car.

then we hunt for cheap hotel around Ipoh city. we went in a few to ask for prices. hmm. this dont want that dont want. expensive, not worth. at last, we settled down at Grand View Hotel a so so hotel. two queen size beds. then everyone struggling for a comfortable bed, pillow and blanket. pity them unlike we drivers did not need to go through all this. haha. priority for drivers, remember this! haha

3pm in the evening, we went for lim teh at one of the famous white coffee kopitiam as claimed by Lucas which is actually good. better than the dim sum. served with white coffee, egg tart and sio pao. i took two glasses of white coffee, 2 egg tarts and 2 sio pao. double dose. haha

after white coffee. mana kami pergi? THE LOST WORLD OF TAMBUN! in other words, Sunway City Ipoh.

night fell. everyone could not wait for Ipoh Famous Lou Wong Bean Sprout Chicken Rice.


after filling up stomach with chicken meat, meat ball, chicken spare parts. we ended up at cyber cafe dota. haha. can imagine how dull is that?

wasting 2 hours there then we went back to hotel. what happened at hotel room then? stay tune for Day 2!

Prince Triple Threat 3100 Special Edition

Special Edition man! haha. another marketing gimmick.

after much consideration and survey here and there. finally landed this racket. i was looking for Finnex but just could not find any to my favourite. so i turned to Prince.

anyway, this racket is good. advantage on drive-play and counter. smashes still average because the weight is considerably light. overall im satisfied.

so the final is over now. although it's over, we still have one last project to complete on 11th Nov.

well, this holiday seems to be packed at early stage. haha.

MASISWA game is on 13-15th Nov which is next weekend. so next monday to wednesday, everyone has to pick up. two sessions a day for four days. 8-9am campus run, 9-11am shooting training, 2-4pm skill polishing. basically, it's just to let the players to sharpen rusty skill. im optimistic that we can enter final. let's set it as a target! however, i will just play my role as 'role model' since im the senior. haha. im not gonna guide directly. haha. hopefully, the team can be independent. i hope so.

to motivate them, i will produce a inspirational video soon on facebook for everyone. haha!

and Hurray!! my family visiting to kl for my cousin's convo is next.

then visit Ipoh, Penang with uniten friends! hmmm.

argh. lazy to update more. wait for next post. hehe
