it's been a dead day!

BUT yes! i'd done something meaningful today. i attended KDKB replacement class!

you know what! i took this brave step to attend this replacement class after thousands of consideration. conseuqently, i had to skip my training tonight.

i gave the lecturer 'face' so i attended his class. (in fact it's my resposibility to attend all classes)

why whole day like dead man. though last night slept 6 hours, suppose was enough for useless people like me. dragging for whole day since 8am class till 4pm class. came back immediately 'throw body' onto my bed just like goalkeeper. why so dead?

tips to buy car

tips on how to buy a second hand car? (student edition)

when you're at a car show room..

exterior

1. look for the cars you want.

2. view overall car body including doors roof everything. no scratches or 'pok chat'.

3. open bonnet, check engine. check the inside of the body frame, make sure no 'pengek'.

4. check engine stand at the bottom. how to check?

5. start the engine, if it vibrates terribly then the engine stand isnt good. the engine is not fixed to the stand well.

6. blow the engine. go check the exhaust, if it release blue or white fume. say no to the car.

7. open the cap of radiator, touch and feel the water, if oily means not good.

8. check the entire bottom of the car body. slightly 'pengek' somewhere on the car frame also reject it. means knocked before.

9. test drive. accelerate, try with first, second gears to check whether the car still powerful or not. easy only, performance is very obvious.

10. if manual transmission, see if any problem when shifting gear stick plus clutch. gear box performance.

11. ask someone to drive the car and we see the car from behind. if the car goes 'serung' like not balance, also reject it.

interior

1. check the windscreen if broken before. see the four sides of the windscreen if the glue still sticking nicely on the car frame. nicely means 'tidy' not 'ugly'.

2. check all four windows if still functioning.

3. wiper back and front.

4. signals and lamps.

5. meters and indicator on the meterboard.

6. door-locking system.

7. cushion with no 'world map' or whatever ugly unwanted scene.

8. air-cond cold or not.

9. audio system. dont buy a car without audio system. i will die of boredom.

others

1. car jack.

2. 'spana'.

3. spare tyre.

4. battery water.

5. car insurance. first party better. if third party, accident make you 'bin chi chi'.

6. check road tax. if cannot claim rm625, dont buy. not worth! hahaha

7. check 'green' card.

mental game

1. dont pay so much to the dealer until they repair your car nicely.

2. 'count cheaper lah, next time i intro more business to u lo.'

3. they are salesman so they cant give you cheapest price (they want 'komisen' ma) BUT ask them to call their boss to bargain for cheaper price.



all those are the tips i could remember after following jacky's dad to buy car for a week.

actually hor. this orchestra. i thought the hall is something like the US celebrities receive their annual grammy awards or what emmy awards.

grand grand like that. got red carpet in front of the entrance to receive guests. and got many photographers or paparazzi taking photographs. many flash lights. then got one area like for interview where the celebrities will pose whatever pattern, show half balls, quarter balls or whatsoever. yeng lor. but my imagination was too far deviated. because i think too much. hehe

actually ok la. this type of entertainment. some music nice, some very annoying. when they were playing annoying music i just could not stand then i started to tangkap those sleeping in the hall. hehe. even the one sitting next to me was SLEEPING!!! how sweet. i wanted to wake him up

"Hey, you paid for one sleeping seat ar?"

but i did not. let him sleep. hehe. let him 'bo hua'. wahahhaa

alright! overall i rated this performance 'awesome'. it theme "The Lord of The Ring" comprising the story from 'fellowship of the ring' till 'the return of the king'. along with performance, they project some drawings into slide show. the drawings very artistic. i think maybe is lim kok wing students draw or what. eventhough i'd forgotten the story of this movie (you know lah, 4 or 5 years ago liaw), i could only remember some characters like hobbits, what legolas (spelling also dont know correct or not).

be safe on the road

this morning i saw it with my bare eyes.

a motocyccle banged by a bus and the rider almost got 'rolled over' by the bus macam popiah.

actually was my fault or not? i do feel a little bit bad lah.

actually is like this. highway ma, 3 lanes. at first one myvi in front of me on the slow lane, then i overtake the myvi into middle lane but the myvi also wanted to take the middle lane. however, i took it first so she still kept at slow lane. then when i overtake her, she took the middle lane but she actually wanted to take the 3rd lane (fast lane) to make a U-turn back. unluckily, many cars on 3rd lane so she could not take and the u-turn junction is very near and she did not want to miss the junction then she stopped between the middle lane and fast lane (like trapped in the middle of the road). she stopped there! she shouldnt stop there as many cars were speeding.

mana tau. got one bike was speeding between the middle and fast lane and avoided her by overtaking from the left lane (middle lane), one bus came. BANG! the rider rolled on the raod then went under the bus. what happen after that im not very sure. i was looking at my rear mirror.

WHAT IF

earlier on i gave way to her. and she stopped at the middle lane and i went behind her. will the bus bang my car?

BUT i decided not to give way to her, was it my fault?

the questionable thing here is. how come the bus can travel at middle lane. i thought they should drive along slow lane? then the myvi should have not stopped there.

actually malang is berbau, depends on how we take the situation into control. be safe on the road, think of your loved ones!

kejohanan badminton terbuka majlis perbandaran subang jaya. i lost in 3rd round double to kl state players. same feeling with the seremban tournament's defeat.

but i lost. i admit i played very bad. tulan....tulan.. almost reaching quarter..so near yet so far..tulan ...tulan

taking part in more tournaments causing more tulan. dont wan take part then not tulan liaw loh!

when Mobile Number Portability was introduced in october by our beloved government, i was thinking, there would be only one service provider win in the end.

the advantage for this technology is that we can keep our beautiful numbers like mine 01x-802028x while switching to other service provider. haha. so those who are having beautiful numbers like mine and have been thinking for a long time to switch service provider can do so now.

not my service provider now is not good, they are good. i have been using postpaid minute plan since 2006 and before that i was using prepaid.

the advantage of postpaid minute plan:

1. song song can call anyone late at night.

2. call anytime anyhow without hesitation.

3. never get the hassle to reload.

4. 100% safe on the line whenever you are (no worries about NO credit lah!)

5. can let people take advantage on me, they ask me call all the time. i feel so proud like a God to them.

Disadvantage:

1. minute plan does not look nice when you sms very often like me, i sms girls all the time.

2. monthly bill can reach rm90 if sms super duper hell a lot in that month. im a busy man ok? i do make announcement to my members sometimes using sms. so a lot loh!

3. my beloved always complain call and sms me very expensive because they are bias towards celcom. sien. the world is unfair!

so with that, im thinking twice, thrice, frice, fice, sice, sevice, eice to switch back to prepaid. when switching to prepaid, i consider a lot of factors ok, i dont simply siwtch song song.

factors:

1. most of my cb friends using digi because they've been using it since 2dary sch.

2. if i switch to maxis, only benefit a little when communicating with west msia friends. if my dad call me, he will complain 'Who ask u use maxis, i call u expensive!"

3. if i continue celcom is not bad since there's one called University Pack, damn cheap. but stupid me did not reload after expired and now not active anymore. so... argh, follow the majority la.

conclusion: use back DIGI, always the smarter choice!

one million, one thrillion, one zillion of sorries to celcom. not that im a traitor. im always loyal to whoever it is. just sometimes have a change mah. i do feel bad. cant sleep for a few nights for doing such thing.

and of course every service provider does not wan to lose their customers after the launching of MNP. i even receieved a sms from celcom operator advising me to choose wise and dont get hooked by U Mobile service and celcom claimed U Mobile is still not doing well so maintain celcom, and u will b served well. celcom made a mistake, they thought i will not change to others like maxis or digi maybe because they think they are better than those two. so they did not advise me not to change to either those two. and i took this advantage to change to DIGI (always the smarter choice).

it's very easy to switch. just visit the service provider website you prefer and switch now. in 3 working days, they will send you a new SIM Pack then you call them for acknowledgement and verification. and another 3 working days for activation of new SIM Pack and you're now another service provider's customer. just that easy. you will receive sms alert like me..

after years of experience driving at kl. hahaha (nolah 4 weeks of experience nia). i found that kl people driving is very stupid. they like to HONK~~~ honk and hoNK! last week, while sl sending me to ktm, on the way he kena honked by a stupid Viva because being slow at fast lane. hey bro, slow lane got many cars so we could not keep into slow lane and we drove a distance at fast lane to overtake a few slow cars at slow lane in order to keep into slow lane again. manatau the KNN MCCB Viva fcuk our car ass hole like never fcuk his wife ass hole before and HONK! this driver lucky him to meet sl, i asked sl to let him ovetake then honk him back but sl said nevermind lah. KNN MCCB luckily i got siong the KNN MCCB Viva driver when he overtake us, who asked him so noob want to siong us again. if i were driving that time har!!! i dont know what will happen. maybe he will never ever can pang sai anymore. i will make sure his ass hole is fcuked badly and he will never realise he got an ass hole!

another thing, kl sign boards is very weird. not what weird actually, is weird at the position they are placed. try to observe the location of every road sign, they are placed just at the junction when you're about to turn so making drivers always not in time to choose the correct direction. whose idea is this? dont know.

what's holiday

sien sial. went to play badminton with david, his housemate kean ping and the other one (forgot his name). haha. played how long ar? 3hours. sien sial. dont know how many games. this Vista Komanwel ar, the hall does not encourage people to lift high ball. ish. build the roof so low dont know for what.

haiya, since i ve decided not to go back then have to keep on with my plan. sometimes we have to be strong with our own stand and decision. no means no, yes means yes. hahaha

i know 3 weeks holiday aint that long actually but at least i can maintain my phyical fitness for the coming december. a lot of games that time i guess. because when i go back kuching, im very very, extremely sure i will slack. eat everyday. wake up laze around in the house. then nothing to do already. can see from previous 3-month holiday, when holiday started physically still ok (even played in swak closed), towards the end, play like kanasai. went to kpca lost to all the uncles. sien. i dont want to struggle again after coming back from kuching so i decided not to go back.

first week of holiday gonna finish soon. this first week, i did nothing much for training. half week went into car already. just yesterday went to gym. weekends only self initiative la. sien sien sien~ resume next monday.

to be honest i miss my family also. furthermore, i did not go back, i do feel a lil bit of guilt! i should have gone back. the longer im separated from home, the less topic i have with my family. haha. that's true. sometimes during phone conversations, other than asking "how are you all doing?" i cant think of anything to ask already. because just too much i have lost with all the updates at home. somemore, my mum is no longer in kuching so my house less one more member and my brother is doing spm now, i should be at home to send him so that my dad does not have to send him to school at odd hours. there's some guilts lah. anyway, i cant change the situation now la. hahaha. can only wish everything just fine. sometimes i just care about myself, i admit lah! hahaha

im anticipating the coming cny, should be a lot of beyond expectations thing happen when i go back. wahahaha

first time in Ipoh. that wan not really counted. went there drank with Ipoh buddies then accompanied by an old lady (not so old la, just matured, near 30?). not pretty somemore. uek! that was my first time, and i was some sort of drunk after that. not so drunk lah, a bit floating only. talk all the cocks when back to hotel.

then my second time at Quattro Club, at Avenue K, near KLCC. tell you what, syok ar! got 4 seasons, winter, summer, autumn, spring. the winter bar at -5 C. autumn syok loh, all the girls there, summer bar is outdoor like kopitiam loh.

i told you im not mugger, never born to be a mugger, never have talents in mugging, never trained for mugging and never LIKE mugging either. so i cannot compete with my housemate in marathon studying. i gave up! i surrender! WHITE FLAGGED!!!!

i have some experience to share here. do you know how to plant 'water plant'? i mean for aquarium plant. this is how my good friend who is a fish specialist told me (shorty guan).

1. find a small vase.

2. plant your plant there with soil.

3. submerge the entire plant and vase into the aquarium. (the water will dirty but it's ok)

haha. one blog per day for 2 days continuously. not that i hangat nak blogging.

because im still feeling of disappoinment. actually im kinda forgetting it but sl blog remind me again. haha

this is university issue. i can only say that the policy still does not satisfy everyone of the students. i believe this is still transition period in gearing towards premier university in malaysia. i know they can get into top 10 or even top 5 rated university in malaysia, this is every university wish in malaysia. recently we're just awarded what best environment award which i never bother to know. i suppose that award covers every aspect which the university has but it doesnt seem to have. haha

i talk so lengthy still back to my apartment issue. i really feel extremely frustrated when i could not get to register my apartment.

what's this?

because we're promised to stand a better chance in getting the apartment if we involve in any campus activities actively. but it turned out to be the other way round. i just dont know how to describe.

we shouldnt be treated like this lah.

furthermore, we're carrying Sarawak flag so everything is understood. not to say sarawakian tai sai can conquer everything but at least do consider about our situations. ervyone of course wants to stay in campus, convenient and comfortable. but then we also know there are limited rooms to accommodate all the applicants. so some have to be 'kicked' out but want kick also filter properly before kicking those out.

what i observed till now.

- not enough car parks around apartment areas. students' cars doubled.
this shows that many people are driving and they are staying in campus. since they have their own cars, they should stay outside lah.

- worst thing. Audi TT and Mazda RX8 can park in the apartment area.
what's this? so rich still want to squeeze into the apartment. go outside find your own house lah.

- someone with home address as near as Bangi stand a place at apartment.
where's bangi? United State, London or Paris? very far from university i guess, they have to stay in campus so that they feel convenient unlike us from east malaysia so near only.

from what i oberved, i can see that there's little of unfairness. not that i jealous i could not get a place in the apartment but i just say they should give the place to those who deserve more. i know everyone has their rights to stay in campus but we see who deserves more.

another thing, when my friends add some kichap.

"Huh, u play for masum also cannot get time slot?"

can you teach me to answer them? how do i know why i cannot get a time slot. i know involve in activities a lot but i still cannot get the place. Apa boleh buat?

complain? complain university too much can get black-listed. (trust me, this is advice from my club advisor)

protest? hang banner at the entrance shouting REFORMASI? can enter ISA leh.

boycott? dont pay school fee? cannot sit for final exam, can fail leh.

switch university? who wants to accept me? Swinburne? haha. i ever thought of it but i think not worth, be patient for another 2 years will be over. a while only. remember when i went for operation till today almost 2 years also. so it's very fast. honestly, sometimes i feel like quitting macam i came to the wrong place but patience is golden (or silence is golden?). this is obstacle in life. i must overcome, it's not heavy even 170lbs weight i also can lift. hahaha. yeah finally i can lift already but kuku becomes short ki.

my mum also asked me the same question "You play for university still cannot stay in campus?"

i dont how to answer her also lah. making my parents decided to send car over for me to drive. WAH! so kandong but still no need lah.

and now they want to emphasize on car stickers. no car stickers cannot enter the university. somemore limited car stickers. that means those who cannot get a car stickers have to park car outside university and block the entire road making massive traffic jam along KLIUC till UPM highway till Seri Kembangan till Puchong till Klang. block the entire north-south highway, make johor and penang disconnected. then governemnt make new highway, collect more money from people and tax more. people cannot afford then go rob, making police case increases, giving police more jobs to do.

and now we're going to own our own car, hopefully can get a cheap and 'fresh' second hand car. if we cannot get car sticker, we may join those parking outside the university blocking the traffic making massive jam till Klang.

so? conclusion?

duduk diam diam tengok mereka bekerja. kita orang jangan bising banyak. 2 tahun cepat sampai. sekejab sahaja. lepas itu, saya akan pergi jauh-jauh. macam mana jauh masih dalam malaysia lah. LOL. sorry BM ada pelik sikit.

this is what i've been up to recently. upon being fully sponsored so we took the opportunity to join this event Kejohanan Badminton Piala Emas Yuen Long ke-39 at seremban.

with mostly state players in our team of 8, we paid a high hope to at least enter semi. but all SAI HEI lah.

not that we did not prepare for the tourney. not that we took the tourney lightly. not that we did not want to win.

WE LOST WITHOUT KNOWING WHY.

with few state players played for our team but still lost. lost to those uncles. im wondering youngsters really cannot play with uncles?

3 doubles 2 singles. all 3 doubles kena tapao by the uncles.

why like this?

WTF. taking the lift up and down.

tell you what, if i got the chance, i want go there and stay. the place just like a club for people to play, enjoy the facilities, socialise (many indon-chinese girls, LKW and MMU students i guess). wah syok sial. but that place really for rich fellows to stay wan lah. we had our dinner there. the menu all STEAK! all above rm10. KNN!! =_= but too bad i forgot to take some pictures.

everytime mengunjung ke McD for burgers. do we ever think of opening our own outlet? chia hui roughly calculated the entire cost to setup a complete outlet is approximate RM1.5 million. a lot huh? solely franchise license costs RM117k and the kitchen setup is roughly RM900k.

actually if we're affordable, why not we open one? it's a good opportunity if we look at long term. what i think is open at highway road will the best. somemore Mcd drive-thru 24hours.

anyway, i just put up on my ebuddy personal message "open one mcd 1.5 m ringgit, who wan share?' i'd received a lot of responce.

in real life, is it that hard to get this get that? i think so because we now dont really come to that situation yet. it's quite scarying if in the end we cant buy this cant but that. i dont want that also.

maybe there's better way? become politician? got side income from UTM (under table money). seriously, an ordinary YB can live a big bungalow? what the hell? so good earning? then car plate got another special plate which i wanted it so much on my Nissan Murano.

selamat hari raya to everybody first of all. it's my pleasure to wish you all and it's my honour. COCK!

i never expected to have one week holiday for this raya because before this we had a lot of holidays already. plus im slacking. so more and more holidays will make no difference.

last couple of weeks was fcuked by this Machine Design project. hate u lots! (kenny, remember this phrase?) to come out with a gear box design with the desired safety factor. spent like a few days to do the calculations, got hooked by microsoft excel. in my life, i never came across this tough of project. i considered this as the toughest project ever.

* This is only part of the shyt calculations on excel.

failure occurs when

1. your shaft diameter is bigger than the gear diameter. DESIGN FAILED!


2. your key's factor of safety bigger than other components. DESIGN FAILED!


3. your bearing does not fit your shaft diameter. DESIGN FAILED!


4. your gear ratio exceeded 33:1. DESIGN FAILED!


5. your design came out with high safety factor aand wasting material. DESIGN FAILED!

not only this. we also had to draw the shyt lame gear box using Pro E. all the components plus our own casing design.

the value of the lesson here is, always start the project early. not to say i did it last minute but everyone was doing that. the problem was dont know where to start.

luckily in the end i managed to submit it in time. God bless.

so now what's going on? negotiating with IMu fella about a friendly. this IMU like all medic affairs. pharma not involving huh? anyway, that's imu problem. just like malaysia gov problem, singapore gov cannot interfere. because later UN will send troops to 'menjaga keamanan'.

anyway, for your information, we're in our business for next year UNITEN OPEN 2009. dont worry my badminton buddies in north, south and far east (ah siong) malaysia, we will send our invitations to you all in january next year. this is our first time and also my first time to become the director for this tournament. hopefully we can host it well. i wil make MMU as our example, and my target is to do better than them, MMU have been doing great in organising tournament like yearly MMU master and Siti hasmah cup. it will be the last event before i retire.

next weekend will turun ke seremban together with utar players for another event. sometimes im worried also, like busy but i still can play.

3. exam hour
found out that study early in the morning 5am can be as effective as anyone else. 10min can kao tim one chapter then switch off the light go bak sleep.

first question, why do you want to smoke? i only get to know this from my close friends also. i did not realise all this while until they told me few days ago and i went to find out.

ok, you say 'to get used to the taste or get to know how to smoke so that later we can fulfill the boss when we work.' haiya, whatever lame excuse just to get smoking is never too good.

we asked you 'Huh, you start smoking ar why you carry one packet of cigarette?'

and you said 'Nolah, my friend's one.'

then shows you smoke already lah. when you started then will sure continue with it. trust me. i have one very best friend. actually not nice to mention his name but i just mention so that you can compare yourself and him. my friend, Ryan, last time when we were in form 2, he asked me..

'Do you ever smoke?'

'No.' i said.

'I want to try it lah.' he said

i told him not to try because once started wont putus already lah. trust me.

but he said 'I try one only just to get the taste, i wont smoke, you must have confident in me.'

'Alright, that's what you said.' i answered.

then during the mid term break, he went to damai with his other gang who smoke ones. then he joint them smoke loh. smoke smoke smoke, till form 4 and form 5 jadi toilet smoker. got caught a few times and almost got expelled by Mr Cheli. but Mr Tan appeal for him and he got back to school again.

why this?

because he smoke.

futhermore, we're grown up already. what we should know we also know lah. smoking is not good for health. the most obvoius part is physical fitness, i guarantee your physical fitness drop tremendously. badminton dont need to play liaw lah. hang your racket lah. next time dont say what eat less want keep fit lah, you think smoke can keep fit meh, dont get obese can say you're lucky already. last time said want keep fit, dont eat kueh chap at night. rubbish lah now!

ask you go training, say no money, no girls, no competition ask me go. sometimes training not that you want to compete then can compete, we also see your performance, you yourself dont help yourself to maintain your form, what can we do? everyone of us start from zero, impossible to say that you want to compete then can compete. then how are we gonna explain to those who are better than you? say no money for training, smoking got money to buy cigarette. alright if you say your friend sponsor, what if your friend stop sponsoring, can you stop your smoking habit? one batang per day, one year later, one packet per day.

sometimes, i dont know how to say also lah. good thing introdce to you, you dont want, always want to try the thing that looks 'yao yeng'.

we must have strong pendirian, no means no. why still wanna try?

anyway, if want to smoke just go ahead lah. we, friends also did our parts already.
