test drive day

what did i do today?

went to tHe spring to collect cheque. somehow GM nt in then went for hair cut at cutting edge before going to her office again.

after that was the real thing, we went for car test drive!

first station, Perodua showroom. we tested Viva since chia hui interested in it. viva is simply too fragile like sitting in cola tin but powerful. we even tried its ABS, wow, 16-clamp per second. heard the 'krook krook' sound very yeng lar!

second station, Mitsubishi showroom at Tun Jugah road. what car did we test? it's Mitsubishi Lanser 2.0 GLS. wahlan yer, spacious, interior damn nice. i like the carbon finishing (not really carbon but look like carbon) on the dashboard. we sped along Tun Jugah road reaching 140km/h in dont know how many seconds but i know a while only. haha. using auto transmission. then we tried its manual transmission. we can shift its manual gear two ways. one on the steering and the other on the gear panel box. sat chin!

* on Tun Jugah road before reaching the U-turn for 'lapping'. =P

this GLS model comes with MIVEC DOHC 16-valve engine, displacement of 1998. its transmission is now equipped with CVT technology sport mode plus INVECS-III.

but this car at current fuel rate, 36-37km per rm10. high fuel consumption rite?

then we head for third station, Volkswagen showroom. we had a look for interior for both Golf GTi and Beetle. there's one model, Passat, according to the salesman, it can go faster than Fairlady. believe it? only 2.0cc.

for Golf GTi, it comes with turbo-charged engine of 2.0cc. quite amazing is it can achieve 0-100km/h in 6.9s only.


too bad, Volkswagen could not test drive because no test drive units available. appointment can be made for test drive in future.

what's next? the new Honda Accord.

anyway, Murano got test drive unit?
